A couple of days ago Mauricio, my host in Guayaquil, organised a pizza night in his house. A few of his friends came over, including one who brought her two young daughters.
Paula, the youngest daughter at 4-years-old, had a fever. Consequently she was very quiet and barely had enough energy to keep her eyes open. One of the other friends rushed out and quickly returned with a bottle of medicine from the pharmacy.
Before they had a chance to pollute Paula's body with chemicals I suggested they allow me to serve her Chiropractic. I explained that the power that made the body, heals the body - always - and that an adjustment will allow a re-connection to the intelligence that runs within her and, as a result, her body will be able to do whatever it needs to do.
Too weak to move, I checked her spine while she sat on her mother's lap and adjusted her using no more than gentle finger pressure on the misaligned segments. Within five minutes she was up and about: eyes wide open, chattering and playing with her sister energetically. No fever.
