Beginning a South American adventure

The universe has brought me back to Madrid, but in a few hours I will depart Europa for a continent on which these feet have not yet created any steps.

I'm flying into Salvador, Brazil where I will stay for a few days before heading up to north to Fortaleza where I will participate in Chiropractic Volunteer work. After that it's an open book. I have no plans, no tickets of onward travel, no thoughts. The only plan is to travel around South America, taking how ever long it takes.

I have my ticket to Brazil, a whole bunch of new gear (which has been long-awaited), and a guide-book. Let the adventure begin.

I'll be updating here as much as possible so stayed tuned.

Love and light,

ara

Hey Sev :)
Great to hear from you , couz!
I've had the same 2 backpacks for the last 6 and a half years. They're VERY out of date - in ergonomics and fashion. So new backpacks, fleece, shoes, socks that I hopefully I WON'T be able to put holes through within a day, sandals, windproof top, waterproof trousers, tshirt, cap, gloves, drink bottle, headlamp, compass (you never know where you'll end up), sunglasses, camera bag, and a few other bits and bobs. Was a pain in the ass getting the right combo of stuff together. I'll be pissed off if it gets stolen, haha.
hope you're well couz. I love you heaps!
